Covid-19 update: 18th March 2020

Dear valued customer/supplier, I’d like to personally take this opportunity to let you know where we stand on the current Coronavirus news, and what steps we have made to ensure our customers and our team members, are safe and healthy throughout this period. Firstly, I can confirm that as a business we have experienced no cases of Coronavirus amongst our team, and we are still processing and shipping orders swiftly so you should experience no delay in getting your radios. Secondly, we have seen a huge number of events that are not going ahead due to the high number of attendees. However, at this stage, smaller events are still going ahead, and we are still providing our services as usual. Finally, due to the nature of our business, we already run a very tight ship on quality and hygiene. Our facility is regularly cleaned and disinfected. We have undertaken further cleaning of all of our equipment, on top of the usual disinfectant process, for our own safety and the safety of our customers. In addition, all desks and workstations have ample hand sanitising gels, those handling equipment have been instructed to wash hands at least every hour throughout the day, in addition to washing them upon entry and exit of their working area. All staff members are instructed to stay at home if they feel at all unwell or display even the slightest symptoms. Any staff member who begins to feel unwell in work, has been instructed to self-quarantine and call NHS 111 for further guidance. We will continue to follow the government guidance in full and support our team members 100%. Apart from this, it’s business as usual here at Comms-Spec HQ, 24/7. We are doing everything in our power now to ensure we continue to offer excellent service, and products, to our customers, whilst supporting our incredible team members and their families. We are a family business, and we view our customers and our team, as members of that family too. Humans have grown and thrived for the last 350,000 years, and we have no doubt we will continue to do so in 2020. The UK is a country that lived through two world wars, numerous financial meltdowns, and here we are today living in greater standards of luxury than any generation that’s come before us. Human beings are incredible, and in a year’s time, this will just be a memory. Here’s to your health, happiness and continued prosperous business during these difficult times.
