Those of you who have already got a copy of our new product guide may be aware of the upcoming Plastic Packaging Tax. This tax will apply to plastic packaging manufactured in, or imported into, the UK, where the packaging contains less than 30% recycled plastic. We have been monitoring the evolution of the tax closely and to make things easier for our customers, we have put together all you need to know about the tax in a whitepaper, which is available to read for free from our website by clicking the link below. Have you seen our new 30% recycled plastic range? The new ZER0 range of 30% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic products includes a 100ml tall HDPE Boston bottle, 250ml HDPE Boston and a 500ml PET Boston bottle so far, with more options being added on an ongoing basis. These bottles will all be exempt from next April’s Plastic Packaging Tax. We've made it easier to spot which products are made with at least 30% recycled plastic, so you can be sure they won’t incur the tax. Look for the above logo or select ‘30% PCR/Zero Packaging Tax’ in the materials section of the product selector on our website. As more products become available, they will appear under this material.
