Baker Perkins at ProSweets 2022

Baker Perkins, part of the Schenck Process Group (SPG), is introducing a new starch-free depositor on a joint stand at ProSweets 2022 – Hall 10.1, stand CO48.. The ServoForm Flexi extends the output capability of batch depositors with a significant increase beyond the 60kg/hour of the existing ServoForm Mini batch machine. The batch process is ideal for producing jellies and gummies for the rapidly growing functional, medicated and healthcare markets. Moulds can be removed after depositing and the product remains in the mould until fully developed – setting times vary from 10 minutes to four hours. Hard candy, lollipops and toffee can also be produced. The new depositor extends Baker Perkins’ ServoForm range beyond continuous high output lines. These are ideal for production of quick setting jellies whereas the Flexi meets the needs of manufacturers looking for longer setting times, lower outputs and more versatility. Baker Perkins will also display the new JellyCook integrated batch weighing, mixing and cooking system which complements the ServoForm Flexi depositor. Products using gelatin, pectin, carrageenan or blends as the gelling agent can all be handled. SPG company Kemutec is a high quality global brand for powder processing machines including sifters, mills and mixers. A cone mill for size reduction and sifter for eliminating impurities at the start of the confectionery production process will be on display, plus full information on the range of dry powder mixers and blenders.
