Find The Needle Add My Company
Domino’s is one of the largest makers and distributors of pizza in the world. They originally began in Michigan in 1960 under the name DomiNick’s, at the time they only had one store and one full-time employee, but over 50 years later the firm has grown to over 13,800 locations and now employs over 220,000 people worldwide. As part of their expansion plans, Domino’s decided to build a Supply and Distribution Centre in Warrington. This £30 million new build, covering 117,000 square feet, required control of vehicular access to the site. After reviewing the Vehicle Access Control providers, Domino’s chose AUTOPA, and with their 60 plus years of experience supplying Vehicle Access Control products to customers throughout the UK, AUTOPA were more than happy to help. Working together AUTOPA and Domino’s decided that the site would be best protected with the installation of four Automatic Rising Arm Barriers. Two of the Automatic Rising Arm Barriers were installed alongside a gatehouse, allowing Domino’s to verify those that enter and exit the site. The other two Barriers were used for controlling employee entry and allowing them free exit. Domino’s now have control over who enters and exits their site.
