Companion Way ladders or 'Ships Ladders' are an ideal answer to access problems where space is limited. Anglia Composites built and installed these access stairs and walkways for R G Spiller Ltd at a new school in the south of England. The ladders are designed for use in the 65° to 75° range. All Anglia Composites access systems are designed in accordance with BS 5395: Part 3: 1985 and comply with relevant Building Regulations. Space was very limited on the roof so it was decided to construct 'ships ladders' instead of traditional stairs. All components are made from fibreglass and all fixings were stainless steel. This will ensure a long and trouble free life with zero maintenance. Ships type ladders can be made to fit just about any available space. The handrail system can be either Yellow or Grey.
