New conference facilities

Region's speed networkers mark launch of Woodland Grange's new conference facilities Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce's latest speed networking event was even more significant than usual - it was one of the first events to be held in the spectacular new conference facility at the Woodland Grange Conference Centre in Royal Leamington Spa. Date: 4/7/2006 The facility is part of a massive 5million development at the Centre, now progressively coming on stream. In addition to six new conference and syndicate rooms, the development also creates substantially increased residential accommodation, a brand new leisure centre and an internet caf bar. More than 80 mid-Warwickshire businesses attended the event on Thursday16 March."We were very excited to be one of the first organisations to use Woodland Grange's brand new state of the art meeting facilities," said Andi Johnson, the Chamber's Senior Events Executive:"They are perfect for speed networking, which is fast and furious with delegates getting just two minutes to sell their products and services to each other. Woodland Grange provided an ideal combination of meeting space, support facilities and the opportunity to relax over a drink and a buffet." Woodland Grange is an active member of Coventry Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and regularly attends its events."We participate fully in the business life of our immediate area and the Chamber is an essential platform," said David Vaughton, Director of Operations at Woodland Grange."The event was a valuable opportunity to show our superb new facilities to local commerce and business."
