About Us

A Total Fuel Storage, Fuel Dispensing and Fuel Management Service

Vectec was established in 1994 to provide a total fuel management service to commercial and public organisations.

Our aim was to create a business that focused solely on the needs of business customers without the distraction of the forecourt sector. This has left us in a very strong position to deal with every aspect of the storage and dispensing of commercial vehicle fuel, serving a wide range of diverse customers with specialist fuel management services.

Fuel Storage

Our Fuel Package Tank systems are available from 2,000 to 120,000 litres capacity. Available in rectangular or cylindrical form these enclosed, bunded steel tanks are specified to the highest standard to ensure that fuel is stored safely and securely. They are designed to meet and exceed the requirements of current and forthcoming environmental legislation. We can provide delivery, off loading and commissioning.

Vectec also supplies below ground fuel tanks and above ground, plastic tanks for diesel fuel and AdBlue storage.

Fuel Dispensing

Vectec are distributors for all commercial fuel pump manufacturers in the United Kingdom . Our dispensers have pumping speeds of 40 to 90 litres per minute and of course, meet the Environmental Agency requirements for accuracy of metering.

Environmental Auditing

With an increasing volume of legislation in the pipeline, an environmental audit of your fuel storage and dispensing facilities will ensure your on-going compliance with all of the relevant environmental statutes.

Fuel Management

Vectec can supply a wide range of fuel management systems. We can provide systems that accept fuel cards, vehicle mounted id tags or conventional electronic keys.

All our systems are compatible with the Total Fuel Management Service that stores fuel data remotely and provides reporting via Internet or purpose written applications on local Internet connected personal computers.

Tank Level Management

Electronic tank gauging can allow you to monitor the stock in your tanks accurately and remotely as well as at the fuel tank. Tank gauging systems record stock levels multiple times each day and maintain histories to comply with Environment Agency requirements. Additionally these fuel tank gauges can provide multiple alerts when tanks need refilling.

Service and Maintenance

Our trained technicians can support and maintain a wide range of fuel dispensing equipment. We can tailor a maintenance package to suit your specific requirements. Our national network of associated service companies ensures a prompt response to any emergency.

We can also provide tank testing and cleaning services and undertake modifications to your existing installations.
