The vacmagic VM300 unit has been designed to offer all the benefits of 'vacuum pump' based sytems with the simplicity of only requiring normal 'shop' compressed air (min 70 psi/5bar) to activate clamping pressures far in advance of conventional units and even out performing high power electromagnetic chucks in recent tests by GBI Cincinnatti in USA with 50hp cuts on a 12"dia billet of steel. With the VM300 you get the added benefit of being able to use it as a pallet changer and fixture location device with repeatability down to microns. See For Your SelfSafetyOnce mounted to a machine, through the universal slots in the lower base plate, the vacmagic unit can cover 90% of all work needed to be machined in most machine shops. In addition to this, the VM300 has a staggering changeover time from vice to specialist fixture of just 15 seconds. It can also be used as a pallet changer.

The unit is CE marked and comes complete with cutout switch which works with most modern machines in the event of vacuum loss and is easily fitted by following the simple instructions provided. The unit also has a red visual indicator showing when full clamping force is not present.
