Kuchl, 30 May 2011
This was the motto of the first UNTHA Recycling Days which were held in Kuchl near Salzburg from May 24th to 26th, 2011. Around 500 trade visitors from more than 20 countries could not only enjoy the ultimate of power shows but also blue skies, bright sunshine and a perfectly organised event. On the premises of the local waste management company Struber, UNTHA shredding technology demonstrated what UNTHA's shredding machines are capable of. In addition to industrial waste, plastics, truck tyres and hazardous waste, pretty much any material a waste management company has on offer was shredded under realistic conditions. The event's highlight was the first presentation of the heavy-duty shredder RS150. During the following demonstrations, the interested trade visitors could convince themselves of this innovation's numerous quality features and tremendous power. For instance, this machine can even cope with pulper ropes from the paper industry which hasn't been possible with any shredding technology to date. Regional culinary delights, various specialised lectures as well as innumerable expert discussions rounded out this event.
"We are thrilled about the event's enormous success and extremely positive feedback. With the UNTHA Recycling Days, we have established a platform through which we can prove to visitors and potential clients
how efficiently and reliably UNTHA shredders turn waste into resources," says Christoph Walchhofer, Head of Marketing at UNTHA shredding technology.
The UNTHA Recycling Days are a biennial power show with specialist counselling.
