In order to secure TAM’s involvement on the Bradway Tunnel remedial repairs, TAM had to develop a new Acrylic & PFA waterproofing grout capable of injection behind existing cementitious grouts and at the back of the tunnel rings. Trails carried out on site proved to be successful and the grout will be used over the next 4 mths. TAM working with Reader Grout have successfully trialed a new Geothermal Grout for use in underground heating systems where renewable energy sources are proving to be a growing market. The product is a single bag system and has no Bentonite material in it and thereby offers a simple and efficient, pumpable material over the current market products with a good level of thermal conductivity. TAM hope that over the next few months good volume sales can be achieved with some of the major UK drilling companies.
