Contents
- Digital, Hand-Held, Non-Destructive Concrete Moisture Meter.
- The New Concrete Encounter CMEXpert II is a digital display version of the Tramex Concrete Encounter CME4 hand-held electronic impedance moisture meter. It operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement. Parallel co-planar electrodes are mounted on the base which, during operation, transmits a low-frequency signal into the concrete floor. To carry out moisture tests simply brush any dust from a smooth area of concrete and also from electrodes, switch on the CMEX and hold to the surface to read the percentage moisture content. There is absolutely no surface damage and no waiting.
- Plug-In RH Probe.
- When the Tramex RH Probe is plugged into the CMEXpert, it automatically changes to Hygrometer Mode. The Tramex RH Probe provides the ideal solution for measurements of ambient Relative Humidity, Temperature and Dew-Point conditions within the building structure and in structural materials such as concrete flooring, walls etc. as well as the environmental conditions within the building or structure. Humidity readings are displayed in both percentage Relative Humidity (%RH) and mixing ratio (grains/lbs. or grams/kg). The solid state capacitive sensor in the RH probe gives accurate, fast results allowing testing of concrete slabs to ASTM F 2170 (In situ Method), ASTM F 2420 (RH Hood Method), BS 5352 & BS 8203 standards.
- Wood Moisture Probe.
- Pin Probe mode is extremely easy to use, simply select the Pin Probe using the ► key on the CMEXpert instrument insert either the Tramex Hand probe or Hammer Probe directly into the socket at the top of the instrument. The pin probe gives accurate readings in 0.1% increments over the entire measurement range. Readings are displayed on the LCD display on the CMEX. The Pin Probe offers a most practical and accurate way of determining that wood is at the correct moisture level for its intended use, providing to be a vital tool of structural lumber in the drying process, probing deep into wall cavities for good quality control of wood flooring and other wood applications
- Infrared surface thermometer.
- High Impact, Polypropylene carrying case, with die cut foam lining.
- Hammer Probe (Optional Extra)
