Fixed Mast Training

With no experience the novice needs to have time to both absorb the theory and then acquire the practical skills for safe handling of the Lift Truck. In order to gain confidence in their ability and new found skills they also need to appreciate the Health and Safety side of this new found working environment on a lift truck. At the course end successful candidates will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training, and should be able to operate their machines both safely and efficiently. The course covers machine and control familiarisation, daily checks/refuelling, manoeuvring in open and confined areas, and on slopes, stacking & de-stacking of various loads, loading and unloading of Lorries / Vans / Trailers and much more.
