Field Support Engineer

Robertson Geologging Ltd. seeks a capable engineer or geophysicist to join our field service team providing technical support and training courses for users of our wireline logging equipment, worldwide. Based in Deganwy on the outskirts of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales , the position involves frequent overseas travel to client's jobsites, with trips lasting typically 5-10 days.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or similar qualification in electronics or geophysics and a minimum of two years experience in wireline logging or similar field measurements. They will need to demonstrate practical mechanical and electronic skills and be able to work and solve problems independently. A liking for travel is essential as is an outgoing personality and the ability to adapt easily to different cultures and backgrounds. Candidates require a full UK driving licence held for at least one year.
