UK, Holland or Germany based Export Account Manager Control & Automation products - £ Neg DOE plus Bonus & Benefits Neg DOE
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an Export Account Manager responsible for North and West Europe for a dedicated individual, working for a progressive company undergoing a significant period of growth. You will be required to cover Europe North and West i.e Germany, Holland, Benelux, Scandi and Eastern European countries. Ideally will speak German but not essential. The successful candidate could be based in UK, Holland or Germany but must be near a major International Airport. Have a technical background related to the electrical control and automation components supply industry. Must be a top class salesperson and enjoy travelling. The role will be developing sales of a full range of factory automation and control components but with a focus upon variable speed drives, p.l.c's, HMI’s, power supplies and transformers, sensors and switches, safety switches, switchgear, control gear, relays, timers, temperature controllers, din rail connectors, circuit protection and other automation components.
The Essential requirements for the Export Account Manager (Europe):
- Ideally speak German but not essential.
- Experience of working as an Export Sales Manager (Essential)
- Experience of attending exhibitions and trade conferences (Essential)
- Knowledge of selling in the Factory Automation, Process Automation, Controls market place (Essential)
- Ability to develop relationships in the European Market Place (Essential)
- Fluent in 1 or more European languages (Desirable)
- Qualification in a technical discipline e.g. Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar to HNC level or above (Essential)
The ideal candidate for the Export Account Manager will have previous worked as an Export Sales Manager, travelling across Europe with the ability to build relationships across a variety of different organisations. The candidate must also be able to work away from home
for periods of international travel within Europe.
The main purpose of the Export Account Manager (Europe) is to generate sales via interaction with a range of clients, visiting trade fairs and exhibitions across Europe as well as building meaningful and lasting relationships for continuous sales.
This is a rare opportunity to work for a growing, progressive company, who like to reward success, for a generous salary of between £30,000 - £40,000 with realistic OTE of £45,000 - £60,000, plus other benefits.
