South East - Research & Development Manager Climate Control Components - £50K - 60K inc Benefits and relocation package possible
My Client, a global brand within the Heating and Ventilation component market, requires an engineer qualified to Degree level in an Electrical Electronic discipline, with experience in R&D or Product Development along with senior level experience to manage a team of 8 and R&D project activity in their UK operation based in the Northern Home Counties.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the R&D department including:
Technical responsible for products
Engineering and technical support to production, with a very strong focus on product cost.
Technical support to Sales and Marketing
Integration of R&D department in the global R&D organisation
Lead the product validation laboratory
Lead the development of new products
Lead alignment of processes and tools
In order to be successful you are likely to have:
An academic degree in Electrical Engineering
Excellent communication skills in English
At least 5-7 years working experience
Knowledge and experience from product development, preferably from the indoor climate (heating and cooling) industry
Project management experience e.g. PMI or Prince2
Proven managerial skills
Experience with wireless communication is preferred
