Leicesetershire/Warwickshire - Sales Engineer - £24K - £30K Neg+Car+Benefits

My Client, a National Electrical Wholesaler/ Distributor requires a capable, dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer. Basic Salary: £ Total package will be depending upon experience Bonus Scheme: Bonus based on sales revenue, profit achievement for the branch. Full details to be advised at interview stage. Benefits: Car, Contributory Pension, Mobile Phone, Expenses. Principle Responsibilities: To increase sales and profitability with the branches current customer base and develop new business within the geographic area. You will be actively involved with the custoemr base managing and developing accounts whilst supported by an excellent internal satff. Liaising with suppliers to ensure relationships are maintained and joint targeting of relevant customers. Preparing quotations, ensuring service levels are maintained, preparation of a business plan to work towards goals and branch objectives.

You will have full access to major brand names within the industry, you will actively target Maintenance / End users, OEM's, Panel Builders, LA's and Contractors. You will hold full responsibility for the customer development within your designated area.

Ideal Candidate: You will have knowledge and awareness of a wide range of electrical industrial and installation products. For example, variable speed drives, p.l.c's, contactors, switchgear, sensors, terminals, connectors, enclosures, control components & control gear, cable, cable management, electrical trade tools, installation products. With a recent background as either area or branch external sales at an electrical wholesaler/distributor or manufacturer. You will have the drive and personality to create new business and manage the existing customer portfolio. You will have excellent communication at all levels and a real focus on providing a first class service to your customers. An electrical qualification is likely, but not essential, but an understanding of the products and market place is.
