Our Client has a requirement for an Area Sales Engineer to continue the growth of business from existing and new customers in the North of England. You will be building upon existing accounts alongside all new business development, selling the Company's full portfolio of products (Circuit Protection, PCB Components, Sensor Actuator Interface, PLC Interface, Marking Systems, Industrial Ethernet, Enclosures, Connectors, Signal Conditioning, Terminal Blocks & Electronic Housings, Safety Relays and switches etc) to the Control and Automation sector, via distributors, wholesale resellers and also Panel Builders, Systems Integrators, OEM's & End Users across all industry sectors.

As the successful candidate, you are likely to be currently an Area Sales Engineer or Area Sales Manager within the Electrical components sector, you will have a strong and successful technical sales background. You will need to be located suitably to service the main business areas of the North, M62 corridor, North West and North East England and also occasional travel to Scotland.

Technical qualifications to ONC/HNC standard or above in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline is likely, however candidate able to illustrate experience and technical ability of the controls industry and components may be considered.
