Midlands - Area Sales Engineer Midlands Sensors & Control Components - £35K - 40K DOE plus Car Bonus Pension Health Life

My Client, a Manufacturer of Automation & Control, has a requirement for an Area Sales Engineer covering the Midlands region selling the Company's full range of Sensing, Safety & Components into OEM's, SI's and large End Users. Whilst personally responsible for products including sensor, vision, safety, relays, timers, counters, temperature controllers and other components, you will work within teams responsible for a full and complete solution range of control & automation components with additional specialist product support for those applications which require it.

You will be responsible for specific customer accounts within a region, managing and maintaining the existing business and developing all-new business, either from within those or new accounts across the Midlands region.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge & grounding in a wide range of control components with preferably Sensing & Machine Safety for the Industrial Automation market as an area of strength and ideally a background in a similar role. In addition you are likely to have Electrical qualification to HNC or above.
