Inventory Controller

My Client has a requirement for an experienced Inventory Controller and Expediter to work within an existing team at a multi national global organisation. You will liaise with factories mainly in Europe and a language skill would be an advantage. An engineering or technical background, qualification, or experience may help since that is the product area you will be involved with. You will be an excellent communicator and recognise the benefit of building successful relationships with your connections.

The Role: The successful candidate will provide essential support to our Client's Purchasing and Supply Chain Team in all aspects of purchasing, dealing with managers and suppliers placing orders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications: - A level or relevant BTEC qualifications (or equivalent) - Experience in a similar role - High level of IT literacy, particularly with Excel Spreadsheets - High level of self organisation - Excellent numeracy skills

Desirable Skills and Qualifications: - Previous Supply Chain or Purchasing background - Experience of the SAP system - Foreign language : German, French, Finnish, Swedish, Czech as a clear advantage
