A collaboration between balustrade manufacturers Richard Burbidge and the MA Product Design team at Birmingham City University.
The brief was to design new stair balustrade concepts, looking at all aspects of the design from the aesthetics, fit and function.
Some excellent designs came out with interesting takes on the infils, banisters, newels and handrails.
