R&M Electrical Group

R&M Electrical Group Ltd was formed in 1987. Over the years our sole objective has been to become specialists in what we believe to be the more interesting side of electrical distribution. Since that time we have become one of the largest independently owned Electrical Distributors in the UK.

Although our particular strengths lie in the Petro-Chem and Hazardous application areas, across the UK nine R&M Electrical Branches operate in strategic areas offering a fully comprehensive service covering the sale and supply of commercial, industrial, marine and hazardous area electrical equipment and related products.

We are stockists for some of the world's leading manufacturers with each branch holding stock utilising a variety of different manufacturers. As a result of this R&M with its diverse product range can supply solutions for all your electrical needs whatever your specific application. Our customers also enjoy considerable benefits through our membership of ANEW; the largest independent buying group in the UK with a spend in excess of £580 million Group Buying Power per annum.

Specialised experienced sales engineers are ready to discuss your needs and keep you up to date with new ideas, products and concepts which can only too often pass you by. As well as our UK stocking branches R&M have three specialist divisions, R&M Cables in Bristol, R&M Fixings and Supports based in Southampton and R&M Assembly Division based at our head office.

R&M's success in the Global Market has provided the opportunity for R&M to open three overseas operations. R&M Caspian was established in 1998, with our extensive involvement and support of electrical equipment for installation in hazardous areas such as Oil and Gas exploration and production, Petrochem and Chemical Processing, it is only natural that a substantial proportion of equipment supplied is destined for use in the Caspian Region. With offices in both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and sales representatives throughout the region R&M can offer local support to Consulting Engineers and Companies operating in this area.

The third and most recent overseas operation is R&M Wholesale Electric LLC. With our head office in Dubai the aim of the company is to revolutionise the distribution and supply of electrical equipment to major projects across a spectrum of industries within the region. R&M also boasts a widespread network of agents which provides us with both knowledge and support in the world's most significant regions.

In addition to our overseas operations we have a dedicated export and projects division. The division has proved an unqualified success with exports to over 58 countries world-wide winning many internationally significant contracts and projects since being established in 1996. Our involvement in such projects has enabled us to develop an experienced project management team capable of managing a range of complex supply contracts
