QP Semiconductor is a privately held California company founded in 1985. The company today is the largest fabless semiconductor firm serving the military, aerospace and high reliability industries. During the past decade, the company has evolved into the leading semiconductor company that designs, re-engineers and provides a full range of manufacturing capabilities to extend the life of classic ICs for a host of mission-critical programs. The company focuses on providing replacement hermetic parts for DMS (Diminished Manufacturing Sources) and EOL (End of Life) products.

QP Semiconductor is the largest fabless manufacturer of high-reliability hermetic ICs for military and aerospace systems. The company provides over 11% of all QML part numbers listed by the Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC).

QP Semiconductor is headquartered in Santa Clara, California with sales representation throughout the world.

Products QP Semiconductor provides a broad array of DSCC certified standard products as well as custom solutions for military and high reliability applications. QP Semiconductor offers QML, SMD and MIL-STD-883 compliant products as well as full support for customer source controlled drawings (SCD's) and ASIC conversions. Our products are manufactured from wafers purchased from the original manufacturer or from products that we re-engineer to the original manufacturers specifications and technology to provide exact form, fit and function drop-in replacements.

Our custom products consist of integrated circuit solutions we provide to customers in search of DMS or obsolete parts. We provide solutions by locating die/wafers from the original manufacturer and building the product to your package, electrical and reliability requirements. Additionally, QP Semiconductor manages a die banking program wherein discontinued products can be stored in wafer or die form at a fraction of the finished part cost and then can be built on-demand in any package or reliability option.
