Leica Geosystems has sounded an international call for surveying, scanning and GPS experts to speak at the Hexagon 2012 conference being held in Las Vegas this June.
Leica is starting early with the call for papers for this year’s event, following the outstanding success of the inaugural event, Hexagon 2011, which was held in Orlando last year.
As with last year’s, Hexagon 2012 will take the form of a global gathering of users and experts of all the precision surveying and measuring equipment in the Hexagon AB stable, including the products under the Leica Geosystems, Intergraph®, Z/I Imaging, ERDAS, and Hexagon Metrology brands.
Leica Geosystems is looking for people to give addresses in three specific sub-tracks that their instruments and surveying equipment cover. They are: trends in mapping & positioning for government & industry - TPS, GNSS and related solutions; HDS/Laser Scanning; and geospatial solutions, including airborne lidar and digital imaging solutions.
They are hoping to host more than 70 presentations, giving light to compelling user testimonials, new technology previews and interactive, technical presentations. The speaking slots will be free to speakers. More information for prospective speakers and how to make a submission is available on the Leica Geosystems website.
