On Saturday 28th March 2009 between 20:30 and 21:30 Grant Westfield Ltd joined local authorities, landmark buildings, businesses and home-owners across the globe in switching off it’s lights in a graphic demonstration of support for determined international action on climate change.
The mass power down took place in 930 cities and towns, over 80 countries across 25 time zones, and included landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle Rock, Sydney Opera House and the Colosseum in Rome.
Grant Westfield Ltd was only too happy to support the awareness raising campaign in addition to it’s on-going environmental policy. This includes working hard with it’s supply chain to source products from managed and sustainable sources, reducing emissions across all facets of the business, and printing on FSC accredited paper stock.
