This successful candidate for this Hardware fixtures & fittings role will have responsibility for driving Quality and Continuous Improvement across the business through the implementation of the latest tools and techniques. The emphasis of the role will on working in partnership with Suppliers to ensure the achievement of best-in-class product standards whilst maintaining the company’s quality system and seeking out opportunities to improve overall business performance. The appointed candidate will also play an important role in the Design and Development of New Products from a quality perspective.
Salary: £40,000 plus bonus & benefits
Candidates, ideally of degree calibre, will have proven experience working in a similar supplier development, quality management or continuous improvement role, preferably gained in a high volume manufacturing environment. Specific knowledge and evidence of having successfully applied modern problem solving/continuous improvement methodologies such as 6- Sigma, 8D, SPC and FMEA is essential, and ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to engage well with others to secure their support and buy-in to a positive quality culture.
