Our client is now looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer, To c.£45,000, ambitious, driven & improvement focussed, to manage technical engineering projects & provide operational support services … relating to the specification & construction of new plants & modification of existing plants across the UK & Ireland; from design & detail drawing of equipment, P&ID design & reviews, HAZOP & reliability studies, pre-commissioning acceptance testing… to final plant start up & commissioning; & to help the projects team move towards ‘packaged engineering’ solutions in order to deliver extensive operational improvement and cost savings.
Ideally a Chartered Engineer, candidates will be Degree qualified in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a track record of successful project experience in a related process plant environment; plus experience of negotiating third party contractors & managing sub-contractors. In addition, strong influential & motivational skills are required, internally & with customers to ensure client satisfaction.
