Commodity Buyer

We are looking for an experienced commodity Buyer to join the purchasing team.The successful applicant will have the following;

•A good standard of IT skills including Excel. •A keen eye for detail, and a reasonable mathematical ability. •A high degree of Commercial awareness with Strong negotiating skills. •An appreciation of relevant technical issues. •Be capable of working unsupervised but still be responsive to the team support requirements. •Familiarity with IS0 9000 or similar. Our range is vast, and includes all forms of Industrial fasteners, Tools, consumables, turned parts, pressings, and category C parts. All of which are required for re-sale. Detailed product knowledge of these products would be helpful, but is not essential as full training will be given.
