METCASE’s New COMBIMET Version T Open Rack Mount

OKW’s metal enclosures division METCASE has extended its bestselling COMBIMET range of aluminium 19” rack mount enclosures with new Version T open models. Version T is for networking, communications, laboratory and studio systems that require greater ventilation and ease of access to the electronics. The units are also more cost effective than fully enclosed models. They have a vented base section and tapered sides to help improve ventilation. The rear panel can be punched for cable inlets or connectors and switches. Like all COMBIMET models, they feature the range’s distinctive and popular extruded front panel handles that make removing cases from racks and reinstalling them quick and easy. New Version T models are available in two sizes as standard – 2U (88 x 483 x 365 mm) and 3U (132.5 x 483 x 365 mm) – but other sizes can be custom manufactured on request. All COMBIMET cases are supplied fully assembled and can be specified in Light Grey (RAL 7035) or Black (RAL 9005) as standard. Prices for new Version T start at £54. Accessories include internal mounting plate kits, PCB mounting pillar kits and rack mounting screw kits. Customising services include printing of legends, logos and branding. METCASE recently launched a new digital printing service – enabling front panels and complete enclosures to be printed with photo quality designs more quickly and cost effectively than was previously available with traditional methods. METCASE’s customisation services also include bespoke sizes and colours; internal mounting plates and brackets; CNC milling, drilling, punching and folding; painting and anodising.
