Mezz Lift Goods Lift , with maximum working load 250kg which is to be fixed back to the existing side wall, guarded two sides at the lower level and three sides at the upper level. The platform size will be 800mm x 1000mm, guarded three sides to suit loading on and off the same side. At the lower level there will be a 2000mm clear height single gate and at the upper level there will be 1100mm high guarding, with a single gate access. The gates at both levels will be fitted with electrical interlocks to prevent the gates from being opened unless the platform is docked at the appropriate level. A small fixed ramp will be provided at the lower level to assist loading on to the 50mm deep platform.
A buzzard will be provided to indicate when the platform has docked at the upper level A 20 amp, 240 volt, single-phase supply is required terminated in a double pole switch at the lower level. Control is via a push to run control station close to gate at the lower level. The lift speed is approximately 0.5m/s.
