Lasermet's range of Laser Warning Labels meet Updated European & International Standards
All labels listed are the new labels updated to the revised editions of the laser safety standards EN / IEC 60825-1 (2001). The changes are as follows:
New labels for the new Classes: Class 1M, 2M and 3R
Note that there are two labels for Class 3R depending on the wavelength emitted.
Class 3A label is abolished.
Protective Housing and Interlocked Housing Labels are changed by having the words 'Class 4' (or other class as appropriate) inserted after the word 'Caution'. The new part numbers are distinguished from the old, by the addition of -01 to the end of the part number.
In Europe manufacturers are required to use the new labels after 1 March 2004. If for any reason you wish to purchase any of the old labels these will be available until stocks are exhausted.
