Rio Tinto is a leading international mining group headquartered in the UK, Rio Tinto's business is finding, mining, and processing mineral resources; Major products are aluminium, copper, diamonds, energy, gold, industrial minerals and iron ore. The redevelopment of this mining giants former headquarters in London’s West End is considered to be one of the most prestigious locations in the country, if not globally, incorporating 125,000 sq ft of new highly sustainable offices, 15 residential units and a new art gallery located around a landscaped courtyard. John Anthony Signs were entrusted to manufacture and install bespoke wayfinding and level identity signage along with a specially commissioned feature wall in the redevelopment of the Grade II listed St James’s Square building. The level identifiers (see photo) incorporated blackened steel with an inner sheath of copper plate.
