Ion Science Reaches Sales of 1000 Instruments for

Ion Science Limited, international manufacturers of gas detection, leak detection and corrosion monitoring equipment is pleased to announce its continued success with the shipment of the 1000th instrument for 2007. This goal was reached during the third quarter of the year, surpassing the target achieved in 2006.

In total, Ion Science has achieved sales growth of more than 30% over the past year, with instrument sales in 48 countries, dramatically increasing its market coverage and profile around the globe.

Leading products contributing to this accomplishment are the PhoCheck+ and GasCheck instruments, accounting for more than 40% of worldwide sales. The PhoCheck+ advanced range of photoionisation detectors (PID) offer unique capabilities in toxic gases and VOC detection, with a detection range of ppb to 10,000 ppm.
