Dedicated line modems use the same transmission technology as the public telephone network, using cable connections, e.g. to connect various buildings within a company's grounds.
Leased Line modems connect two Party Line modems from several end devices (multidrop). The modems connect to each other automatically on boot-up. Leased Line modems can also be operated on fed or unfed Telecom rental lines. They are pre-configured in pairs as originate and answer versions.
Leased Line modems can also transmit the status of the digital inputs to a receiver and its outputs - at regular intervals and after any changes.
i-modul LL/PL modems connect to the local application (e.g. a control program) via a serial port (RS-232).
i-modul LL/PL modems are compatible with the other i-modules in size and pin type and connect to the loca application (e.g. a control program) via a serial port (RS-232).
