G-TEC are a privately owned sub-contract electronics company who design and build complex electronic products for industrial use.
We are seeking a sales/administrator to support a small team of sales professionals.
The role is 50% administration/50% sales.
Administrative tasks include:
Processing purchase orders & contracts, understanding terms and conditions.
Accepting RFQ's/dealing with RFI's of a technical nature.
Working within a MRP environment and multilevel BOMs/part numbers.
Understanding and managing issue controlled data.
Calculating detailed costings/Interpreting engineering drawings.
Compiling quotations.
Dealing with sub-contractors and organising quotes for raw material.
Sales tasks include:
Responsible for managing house accounts and delivering customer service.
Ensuring the expenditure is maintained through pro-active account management.
Maintaining telephone contact/telephone/marketing sales.
Providing first line contact/support for technical questions.
Maintaining relationships with engineers/buyers/senior staff.
Providing production schedules and customer production updates.
Identifying new business opportunities with pro-active behaviour.
Participating in customer meetings.
We are seeking the following traits:
Proven record in a similar field of work. (i.e. Manufacturing)
Experience with a MRP/part number system.
Highly organised and with accurate literacy and numerical skills.
Methodical with a positive attitude.
Highly competent on a PC, especially with formulas in MS Excel.
Experience in telephone based activity.
Experience with managing customers at a business to business level (Not retail)
The ability to prioritise a daily and weekly workload.
The ability to effectively communicate technical information at all levels.

Candidates should be currently located within easy reach of Aldershot.
Working from a modern clean industrial offices, we offer 27 days Holiday, plus bank holidays, life assurance and pension. The role is based upon a 39 hour week, 8.30 to 5.00, with 4.00 finish on Friday - although a degree of flexibility is required to ensure the smooth running of the department.
