Lisheen Mine Engineering Project

With current production the newly design ball mill ring gear dust guard is performing excellently. We have had two inspections since its installation and everything was perfect, no loose bolts or cracks in the plastic. Zero noise is produced from it during operation. It made life much easier, cheaper and a lot safer to install. Two contractors undertook the installation and completed it in under 12 hours. It took three contractors 20 hours to install the steel dust guard due to the amount of welding along with using gantry crane. Each plastic piece was designed to be generic so any section can be drilled and fitted quickly, in place of another, if any problem is detected with any 2 meter section.
