About Us

We worked closely with HAGEN Batterie AG of Soest, Germany, since 1992 and have in depth knowledge and experience of their batteries. Based in HALIFAX, West Yorkshire, UK, we have excellent transport links with the rest of the UK.

Since the Tudor Group of companies, of which HAGEN Batterie AG was a division, were acquired by the US based EXIDE Corporation, we also act as a distributor for other group products. SONNENSCHEIN dryfit, MARATHON and EXIDE TECHNOLOGIES ranges are examples of the products made by Exide Group factories. As a specialist battery distributor we can usually offer ex-stock delivery of a wide range of batteries, including SONNENSCHEIN, EXIDE, FIAMM-GS, OPTIMA, TROJAN and FULLRIVER. Stocks of some of the more popular sizes of battery chargers are also held.

We specialise in rechargeable battery applications and can give technical support and advice based on over 20 years experience in the international battery industry. The application and environment are crucial factors in the choice of battery. As an independent business, we can offer a personal and unbiased service from conception to completion where battery power is required in projects. If special packaging is required, e.g. a battery pack with flying leads, we can often supply a solution to your needs.

Rechargeable batteries will only give reliable performance if the charging regime is also closely matched to their application. A combination of understanding the needs of the battery and close working relationships with several manufacturers of battery chargers and power supplies, allows us to produce packages that work.
