What are N Connectors:
N Connectors have a threaded (screw) coupling mechanism to provide a secure connect/ disconnect coaxial termination and ideal in applications where there is vibration. The increased rigidity of the screw coupling gives the N Connector cosistent performance under adverse operationg conditions. In some appluications the N connectors can be used up to 11GHz. Both Crimp and solder clamp ( Pressure Sleeve) termination are used for this series. The N connectors provide a medium power high-frequency solution for coax connections.
N Connector Applications:
The applications for the N Connector vary from signal, video, data transmission and many antennae applications where performance is paramount. There are many plating options available. Nickel body with Gold contact. White bronze body with Gold contact and silver body with a silver contact. The latter two offering superb intermodulation properties.
N Connector Features:
N Connectors can be used up to 11 GHz. The series uses both crimp and solder clamp (Pressure Sleeve) styles of termination.
