Worm Charming & BBQ

Fun in the sun was had by our staff and their families in the heat of mid-July. We held a worm charming event and staff did not hold back on the ideas! We had the usual garden forks and pieces of wood, but there was also battery operated drills, hammers, flutes, wind charms, and a large plastic crocodile head ... to name a few. The event was started at the sound of a Vuvuzela and then chaos broke loose!! It was quite a sight... and absolutely hilarious! There was obviously the odd glass of Harveys Best to be had – with a fine barbeque. The event was held in Terry Baldwin’s garden with staff bringing their own combinations of sun umbrellas, chairs and picnic rugs. Shade was a valuable asset as the temperature soared and the children’s paddling pool looked very tempting! A great time was had by all that attended.
