Background on FindTheNeedle and Alpha Publishing
Findtheneedle is owned by Alpha Publishing who started 15 years ago producing industry specific product card packs that were distributed at over 50 major trade shows throughout the UK.
Findtheneedle launched in June 2004 with Alpha Publishing feeling that it was the right time to publish it's huge database of specialist industry contacts on the web. The name of course comes from the phrase looking for a needle in a haystack, its a bit different but we hope one that you are unlikely to forget.
The first company to agree to pay for a premium listing on the site were Atlantechs Limited who still continue to advertise with findtheneedle to this day. Since then over 5,000 companies now subscribe to the site and a staff of 5 has grown into a team of over 40 people.
Findtheneedle has rapidly grown into one of the largest and most visited business to business directories in the UK. Due to our continued success we shall be doubling the size of office space and staff within the next few months. We are also excited to be launching findtheneedle.com in America and setting up offices over the pond.
